Meet Angela!
Angela Quezada Padron is a Latina author-illustrator of fiction and nonfiction children's books. She spent her childhood days writing stories and doodling on the garage walls of her New Jersey home and enjoying summers visiting family in the Dominican Republic.
Angela has always been a Renaissance woman who wears several hats, including as an educator, curriculum developer, fine artist, musician and novice fashion designer, just to name a few. She is also the owner of Dream Jar Publishing, a small independent publisher of books for young readers and big dreamers.
Besides her published books, Angela has written, edited, and art directed a series decodable books, Cover to Cover, as part of the Reading Partners curriculum that addresses the science of reading.
When she's not working, you can find Angela observing wild dolphins and collecting seashells, singing along to Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, enjoying musical theater, playing baseball, or binge watching Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies.
